VitroJet Software 1.5 released

September 2023 – At CryoSol-World, we are thrilled to introduce you to the revolutionary VitroJet Software 1.5. This milestone release has been designed with our customers in mind, empowering you to take your Cryo-EM sample preparation to new heights. Have a video preview here we shared in our CryoSol-World LinkedIn group.

What’s New?

  • Increased Automation: Our fully automated grid vitrification cycle is the heart of this upgrade. By optimizing processes, we’ve reduced cycle duration by an impressive 15%, now clocking in at under 6 minutes. Faster autofocus, 2-3x increased speed, and automatic droplet calibration ensure grid-to-grid reproducibility, all without any user intervention.
  • Enhanced User Experience: We’ve made advanced user capabilities a priority. Now, you can preview protocols, define default settings, and access detailed temperature and pressure information during bakeout, providing more control and precision.
  • Improved reliability: Enjoy improved overall reliability, thanks to system and workflow recovery features. The VitroJet is ready to perform seamlessly at any time, ensuring uninterrupted productivity for our users.
  • Intensity Analysis: Say goodbye to time-consuming screening. Our optical camera and intensity analysis feature aids in ice thickness determination during grid preparation. This visual feedback accelerates the process, guiding your samples directly to high-end electron microscopes.

A Collaborative Triumph

None of this would have been possible without the incredible collaboration with colleagues and our partners. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our partners and the invaluable insights shared by our customers worldwide.

We’re excited about the future and can’t wait to share even more advancements with you in the next quarter. Stay tuned for further updates and innovations that will continue to elevate your Cryo-EM journey.
