Lecture at Dutch cryo-EM School

June 2022 Six months ago Maaike Schotman joined the CryoSol-World team right after finishing her PhD at Eindhoven University of Technology at the department of Biomedical Engineering. Today she gave a course about sample preparation solutions for cryo-EM to the first Dutch cryo-EM School (NEMI) at the Leiden University on invite of Ludo Renault. The course on sample preparation was complemented by the course on microscopy by electron microscopy expert Wim Hagen from EMBL. Both devices can not do without each other. That’s why CryoSol stands for ‘two achieve more’. Also because we believe sharing knowledge together with both novices and experts in the field is vital to advance the cryo-EM research results. We are here to help.

Our team works closely together as well and this is why we are very happy to have Maaike in our team. She is a great colleague to work with and eager to help our customers and students with the latest knowledge in sample prep. Are you an application scientists and looking for a meaningful career in life science as well? You can read her story here: CryoSol-World.
